Missed the first 5 minutes of the game with technical difficulties..the issue was with the philly broadcast which it was supposed to be I think...they switched to blazers feed. I'm in LA.

yeah, i've been considering cutting off my cable all together....kind of a ripoff for shit I don't really watch ALL That often...only thing keeping me is NBA shit, everything else I can watch on hulu or whatever. $900 a year + $170 for NBA league pass.

If I get HD, I have to sign a 2 year contract I believe and get a new dish installed. blah.

On my dish I get an amateur TV station in Eugene called KEVU. It seems they broadcast the KGW games. As often as not, the drunk high school interns they have working there fuck it up. Last night, as has happened before, they missed the entire first quarter before they figured out they were supposed to be showing the Blazers game. I had recorded the broadcast on my DVR so I could help my daughters with some things, so when I turned it on at 8:00 p.m. I was pretty livid it wasn't recording the game. Luckily I forwarded through the Dr. Phil marathon, refusing to give up, until the game came on, joined in the second quarter. Oh, and whatever the negative of HD is, that's how bad their resolution is. But that's the best I've got. Fucking Comcast.
