I like Megadeth...but by no means are they "gods". Metal gods are bands like Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, Metallica, etc. Megadeth is solid, but they're not a band I can listen to a lot of before getting sick of them.

Same, I got into Megadeth way after Metallica and Megadeth although solid, get boring quick. Its some good stuff, but they are one of those "bands" that only had like what 2 1/2-3 1/2 good albums. The new stuff is pretty great though.

Hmm...I much prefer Megadeth's old school stuff. Some of their guitar work back on some of their 80's and early 90's albums was just ridiculous.
