39 why?
Didn't think you were old enough to vote for Clinton the first time.

oh, they'll still blame bush. that's what this country is all about.
Is this one of those 'we should be classy' threads that we agreed to prior to tonight?
I posted something on Facebook about it's time to stop blaming Bush, and time to start delivering on promises. Three of my black Dem friends have already 'liked' that post. Two of them are out of jobs right now.

[video=youtube;2SuUQYbypbE]you should "help them out" (on the downlow)
No more blaming Bush. The American people have decided they want Barack Obama to lead them to prosperity.
Time to deliver on his promises.
Assuming the republicans make it a point to attempt to stop everything he tries to do (again), then what?
A replay of the past two years.
I'd weep for the county too. He needs to bust out some executive privelage
Careful. We have checks and balances for a reason. We elected a president, not an absolute monarch. Remember, one day someone who has policies of which you don't approve will be president.
do you honestly think Obama gives a fuck about "checks and balances"? He will circumvent them at every opportunity to pass his agenda through.
He doesn't, but that doesn't mean his supporters have to embrace that style of governing.
give me a break, they are mindless sheeple who will follow whatever he says. plus, more often then not, his agenda will basically be about creating a greater welfare state, which most of his followers will benefit from.
It's funny, I was talking to this guy I know and he said he heard someone say something funny while playing World of Warcraft.
Guy: My life is so awesome.
Friend: Why is that?
Guy: I'm just sitting here while the government is paying for my World of Warcraft account, and my food. I don't have to work. I can just sit here and play WoW all day. It's awesome.
Who do you think this guy voted for?

He most likely didn't get off his lazy ass and vote.
Aren't you concerned that there seems to be a growing feeling from people in the 20-30 bracket that if you can get a handout from the government, it's cool and you should take it?
We still control the house. Good luck getting anything passed. At least we can try and check and balance the frivolous spending house wife.
