The Delaware 87ers (7-21) and the Austin Toros (10-14) faced off for the second time in as many nights. The Sevens held off the Toros for the second night in a row winning 91-87.
Damian Saunders led the team in scoring with 17 points and had a game high four blocks. Tiny Gallon added 13 points and grabbed seven rebounds in 25 minutes of play.

The Sevens went into half time leading 47-38 and outscored the Toros 16-5 in fast break points. Toros forward, Josh Howard (19 points, five rebounds) and Courtney Fells (15 points, three rebounds) worked to close the gap, but were unable to get closer than 11 points by the end of the third quarter. Austin's Eric Dawson pulled down a game high 17 rebounds, and added 14 points.

Newcomer Bo Spencer (14 points, six rebounds) was named player of the game and put the 87ers up by 10 with a pair of long jump shots late in the fourth quarter. Sixers assignee Lorenzo Brown scored 12 points and sealed the victory with a late lay-up.

The 87ers return to action, Friday, January 31, when they travel to take on the Maine Red Claws. The game tips off at 7:00 p.m. E.T.
