The radicals on both sides all they want to do is throw meat to their radical groupies and forget about the independents/moderates/centrist.

This my point, why is he trying too. There are many more as qualified people in the democratic party to lead but Moore need's to sound off and draw attention to himself.
He has every right too but it does'nt mean he should?

Well, if you want to list the people who should keep their opinions to themselves, it's going to be a very long list. Roughly 7 billion, give or take a few.

I honestly don't care. His perspective doesn't sway me one way or another. I don't think he has as much clout with Dems as you may think he does. I'm not a fan. Never have been.

Doest it just blow your mind that Trump beat Hillary Clinton. And about 15 other politicians.
If that doesn't say something about the State of Politics in the mid-west / south?
Now if Biden runs, big chance in the those Staes, but he's as stupid as Trump in many ways, and he represents the good old dudes.
If a die hard in your face social dem runs, t5he mid west and south won't be to accepting. They Still believe in patriotism in those States, eat lots of beef and potatoes. I've spent a good portion of my life working for a major manufacturing company in Milwaukee before I retired. Just try ordering a Bud light in Wisconsin many bars don't sell it, they will provide a local brew. Years back when left coasters were big on Honda, Toyota's and every other imported vehicle, there was virtually none in a 57 acre parking lot in Wisconsin or the whole mid west.
Still cant believe Clinton lost to Donald Trump because she totally underestimated middle America.

I personally don't like to be a hypocrite but this doesn't really work as a knock against conservatives.

Libs are the group that seems to preach this punishment of people for silly or old sins.

If conservatives start calling for Bill Maher to be fired for his latest racist joke I'm sure they are just following the lead of the other side. The side that got a weatherman fired over a slip of the tongue.

When you start punishing people for every past mistake no matter the size of the mistake you're bound to catch some friends...example was Al Franken.

Pretty sure I'm one of the few if not the only one to say he shouldn't resign..
 
Virginia elected him, I'm fine with them deciding what to do.

Right. So libs gotta own it when it's one of ours, like Franken or Northam. If we excused Franken or Northam, then that would be hypocritical.

Similarly, if cons are ok with the racist-in-chief, then they gotta excuse other racists, even when Democrat. As you have done here. As long as you excuse all racists, you aren't being hypocritical. You might be something else, but not a hypocrite.

I'd agree with that, actually. But I gave my own views on it much earlier in the thread, I was trying to represent the 'no tolerance' wing in this exchange.
Not all 'libs' or 'progressives' think the same way about every issue.
