I couldn't quite get a definitive answer from the local 6 pm news when I got home from work in Beaverton, but Trimet may or may not have service when the protests start if they turn violent? WTF? Of course the protests are going to be violent so it looks like I could be stranded in Beaverton after I get off work at 4:30 pm today. SMDH.

I live in Vancouver.

FWIW I got an email yesterday at work that said Trimet is stopping service at 3PM in downtown due to the threat of violence. So you're probably fucked. :\

The building security now said that "they are getting 'conflicting' information about availability, and that both C-TRAN and TRIMET will continue to provide service in and out of downtown Friday afternoon, but there will likely be delays or disruptions to service as the events unfold today."

Let the riots begin, we have a new Sheriff in town, Trump will change going forward and the so called tolerant left is the reason why.
Peaceful protest is allowed all others should be arrested and very large fines should be assessed to get out of jail.
Fines to help pay for cost of police protection provided.
Both far left and far right will need to move closer to the middle in the future.
