05/28/17 — Today -- an exclusive first look at a new report that says you can put a price on success when it comes to Congress. The report by Issue One exposes the secretive money system in which democratic members of Congress "buy" top spots on the most powerful committees. To raise the money, they often collect from the very interests their committees are supposed to oversee.

I'm starting to think we'd be better off if our elected officials were picked just like we pick folks for jury duty...take a number ..have a seat....number 8 can go home, number 9 has made it to the second round

If we could impose term limits to one or two terms, I think it would end up being more like jury duty than career seeking. I am all for it.

i've advocated for the lottery system for many years. and don't pay them but a per diem room and board rate.

Maybe just make inmates do it for $1/hour.
