LeBron James earns record-extending 22nd NBA All-Star Game nod
LeBron James is an NBA All-Star for a record-extending 22nd consecutive year after the league announced its reserves for the Feb. 15 midseason showcase Sunday night.www.espn.com
Future Blazer Giannis - have you heard of him?Siakam
SGA
Doncic
Wemby
Jokic
Murray
Avdija
am I forgetting anybody? if not, very likely will be Sengun
Giannis is out....another calf injury is a season filled with themFuture Blazer Giannis - have you heard of him?
But yeah will probably now be an international player taken to replace him. But that is just standard injury replacement.
It would have been odd if there were 2-3 or so additional allstars just due to nationality.
wut? There might be some subs for injuries but this season between the starters and reserves the selections are 9 international and 18 USA players. No Silver picks needed to even out the teams.
Can we deport Kevin Durant to El Salvador?Siakam

I read that Towns is US but played for a Caribbean country in the Olympics. Probably someone else is similar. So they can kind of flex between either US or World roster.wut?

looks like 7 & 16....maybe I'm missing somebody? I know Giannis is out
KAT was born in New Jersey and the last I read was that the NBA was defining international players for the all-star game as those born outside the USAI read that Towns is US but played for a Caribbean country in the Olympics. So the NBA might have to tweak the rules of the allstar game? I bet that is something that rarely happens...KAT was born in New Jersey and the last I read was that the NBA was defining international players for the all-star game as those born outside the USA
I don't see why they would need to tweak. Sengun is pretty clearly deserving of the nod. That would meet the 8/16 formatSo the NBA might have to tweak the rules of the allstar game? I bet that is something that rarely happens...
Norm Powell represented Jamaica recently. Doubt he's being considered for the international team. You’d think it is what country they currently represent. Citizenship wise. Like who they would play for in an Olympic type format.
But some players are dual citizens and can represent either country. You’d think it is what country they currently represent. Citizenship wise. Like who they would play for in an Olympic type format.
The NBA All Star has been this way since the 90s. Why fix what's not broken? So the NBA might have to tweak the rules of the allstar game? I bet that is something that rarely happens...
Towns. And SGA is out so Sengun too.Giannis is out....another calf injury is a season filled with them
so they need one more foreign born player
