New on board. I was wondering if there was a feature I could click onto to choose an avatar. If so how does one go about doing it?

Scroll to top of page, right corner, click Settings, look to left side of page, My Settings > My Profile > Edit Avatar

Rick as I said in another thread, an avatar can be just a picture of your favorite player or yankees logo

Go to Google images, type in yankees logo, or the name of your favorite player. Click 'save as' and save it to your hard drive

Then do what speeds said above.

There are just to many great players that I've liked over the years, McCovey & Mantle in baseball, & Russell & Havlicek in basketball so I wouldn't know what image to use there. So maybe something outside of sports like perhaps my favorite actor John Wayne. Yeah, maybe a familar western shot of John Wayne from say the 60s. If that's possible. And hell......I'd really appreciate it. Or here's a thought, how about something with those 4 players I mentioned like something with JUST there #s. 6 & 17 for Russell & Havlicek & 7 & 44 for Mantle & McCovey. THAT! would be awesome.

right click on the image and choose "copy image address" (that's what my browser says, yours will be something similar).

Then click on settings upper right.

On that page, in the left column, it says "edit avatar" - click on that link

Choose "use custom avatar"

In the text box for option 1, erase it all and then paste in the URL you copied by right clicking on the image.

Click save changes.

Alternately, you can drag the image from your browser to your desktop, then use option 2 upload from your computer, choose the image on your desktop, and click save changes. This is probably the very best method. Once uploaded, you can delete the picture from your desktop if you don't want to keep it on your computer - it will be saved here as your avatar.

You can also edit your signature from the settings page.
