We are currently 5th in the West and 2nd in our division only 3 games back in the loss column to the Nuggets. The way this board has been the past week or two, many thought we were a late lottery team.

Then again, overreaction is kind of par for the course with most on this board anyways.

We'll have a much better idea of our prospects for this season after these next five games.

Our schedule has been pretty cake so far.

Chris Paul is ridiculous. 30/19/9 tonight. Dude is averaging almost 15 assists per game in December.

Crazy that New Orleans held Carmello to like 16 points. But that's what happens when you lose Billups and that second threat isn't out there. Trap away!

They held Dirk to under double digits the other night as well.

Speaking of Dirk . . . did he get hurt tonight? I'm looking at the box score. With a minute left in OT vs Houston, he's played 10 minutes. Scored only 5 points. It's not like he's in foul trouble (0 fouls) I guess he could have been ejected?? Anybody know?

He came down with an elbow to the mouth of Landry. He needed stitches and even had a couple of Landry's teeth stuck in his elbow. Both players didn't return.

Wow equally impressive IMO. Maybe that team is starting to find some defensive identity that it had been missing.

Most of the wins that have gotten us this record came before Oden went down. In fact, half of our wins happened with Travis on the team. So it's too early to see if we can continue to play at a "5th seed" pace with all the injuries we have.
