69-year-old woman punched in face by Trump supporter outside NC rally

Fuck Donald Trump.

There are three sides to this election: Those who side with Hillary, those who side with Trump, and those who realize we are fucked no matter what.

We have to let the system burn to the ground.

Yup. We're fucked unless WE do something about it. What we don't realize is we outnumber the people who are really destroying the country.

The people destroying the country are running it. These social issues are nothing other than diversionary tactics to distract you from how bad the government and banks/big business are fucking you.

Also wish the article said whether or not the person got their ass kicked into next week.

I'd hope that even at a trump rally there would be a line out the door to kick the face of the asshole who would punch a 69 year old on oxygen.

No eye witnesses to anyone punching her?

No visible evidence of anything but a fall?

So wait, some dick punches another person and it's Trumps fault? Please tell me you aren't that naive? You do realize that people on BOTH sides have done this the entire election cycle right?

Yes it's Trump's fault.

Bernie Sanders tells supporters to knock off the violence

Bernie Sanders made a direct appeal to supporters in an interview that aired Sunday on CNN's "State of the Union," imploring them not to engage in violence after a week in which protesters — some apparently loyal to the Democratic underdog — attacked Donald Trump backers in California.

I have never seen an election like this. It's actually really concerning. It's bringing out the worst in both sides.

Yes. Bernie tries to quell violence, Trump tries to incite violence.

We have to let the system burn to the ground.

And you think that will make you better off?

You sure about that?

You can't 'unburn' things after you burn them down. So try not to do anything stupid.

In the long run, probably.

I am of the belief that the way our society and system is run will eventually lead to catastrophe. The greed and back room dealings will eventually catch up to us. We have essentially been kicking the can down the road when having to deal with financial apocalypse. Print more money. Bail out the same banks that got us in this mess. Give them bonuses. Keep interest rates at zero. Not to mention all the social issues plaguing this country. We are a country of fucking freaks. I've already just given up worry about any of that, people are past the point of redemption.

And they are just making things worse. I mean look at this recent Wells Fargo scam, where they were making fake accounts for people. All of this greed will continue until the system is totally destroyed. We just need to accelerate the process.

It's so bad that every time the Fed even mentions the possibility of a tiny rate hike, the market tanks.

It's going to be a bloodbath when they do raise the rates.

Warren Buffet will lose $billions. The average person on main street will see their retirement plan tank.

Nobody wins except those who live off the government teets.

I believe if Trump does win, the FED will raise rates to tank the economy in retribution.

Is Trump the answer? No.
But Clinton and more of her type is the problem.

Video came out. It was a 73 guy who is reported to not be able to see very well. He was kind of minding his own business when this shrieking bitch starts following him and appears to touch him.

He's the old guy who trips here holding his wife's hand.

“The video clearly shows that he is being led through the screaming, hostile crowd by his wife because he cannot see well,” Smith explained to Breitbart News. “The video actually shows him stumbling at one point because he couldn’t see the curb.

“It shows [Teeter] come up behind him and reach out her left hand and grab his shoulder. [She] was pulling him back, and he lifted up his right hand to get her off of him, and she fell.”

The video, which is somewhat unclear, shows Campbell stumbling at about 0:35, and shows Teeter following him, then reaching out to him at about 0:55. It does not show the precise moment at which Campbell reacts and Teeter falls.

looks like a crowd of good, salt of the earth people, except the aggressive, probably mentally ill protestor trying to elicit a reaction.

So, you want a financial apocalypse now so that you don't have to sit around and wait for it?

Sooner or later, you are going to die. Is that a good reason to kill yourself today?

So you're against assisted suicide laws? Those people are going to die sooner or later.

For the same reason you probably want assisted suicide legal, you want to financial crisis to come sooner - so it's less severe and better recovery possible.

Yes.

They should have let the banks fail back in 07. Now we have scumbags like Wells Fargo creating fake accounts for customers that they didn't know about on an institutional basis. The government, banks and big business will continue fucking you. Eventually their greed will catch up to you and they'll just pass the blame and the losses to the American people.

All that the FED has done has printed trillions of dollars out of thin air. They have also made the economy dependent on 0% interest rates. When they raise them and the markets start to tank, they are just going to lower them again (possibly negative interest rates) and print more money and the bubble gets bigger and bigger until the day where it becomes so bad that everything gets fucked.

America is done. Stick a fucking fork in it.

There's no question the banks should have been left to fail. True capitalism calls that sort of thing, creative destruction. From the ashes arise stronger and more appropriately defined companies/banks.

The Fed lowering interest rates to near zero encourages borrowing. Only left leaning economists believe being in debt up to your eyeballs is a good thing.

I deposit $1000 in the bank. The bank then loans $9,000 to people using my $1000. The person who borrows the $9000 simply gets $9000 added to his account. He writes checks, which are IOUs from the bank. Based upon the $9000 IOU from the borrower, the bank loans another $81,000.

The banks gamble on the fact that 90% of the money deposited remains deposited. The cash flow, payments, and interest paid by the borrowers covers a moderate number of defaults and is HUGELY profitable for the banks. They are collecting interest on $90,000 ($9,000 + $81,000) and haven't spent a dime of their own money.

If people stop borrowing, the whole thing collapses under its own weight. If people withdraw their money en masse, the banks are in deep shit. THe government is complicit in all this. They allow it, but require the banks to maintain a reserve with the Fed.

It's a vicious cycle, resulting in inflation and ever higher public and private debt.

As the bubble deflates, companies borrow less, have less to pay employees, and employees have less to spend.

As people have too little to spend to afford their mortgage payments, the bubble bursts.

According to the Fed, there's only $1.46T in actual money in circulation. GDP is about $18T. That's even more than the 9x I just wrote about.

It's pretty hard to recover from suicide, no matter when you do it.
