They programmed software to substitute homosexual for gay because people respond more positively to gay.
So they covered a track event. Winner of 100 yard dash gets label of world's fastest man/woman. Event was won by Tyson Gay. Headline "Homosexual is World's Fastest Man". Story began, "Sprinter Tyson Homosexual proclaimed world's fastest man after winning 100 yard dash ... "
They later corrected but original became collector's item.

Wow. There is some very inept evil circulating quickly around this country's right wing. I mean, we all know it has been happening for a while, but the speed of the offensive has been accelerating exponentially. It makes America a very depressing and scary place to continue living.

Texas judge invites Disney World to relocate, calls Florida authoritarian & anti-business

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — A Texas judge wrote a letter to Disney’s CEO inviting the company to move its Walt Disney World resort to the Lone Star State after its issues with Florida’s state government.

Friday, Gov. Ron DeSantis signed a bill dissolving the Reedy Creek Improvement District, Disney’s private government that has been in place for 55 years.

This came after Disney openly opposed the Parental Rights in Education Bill, also known as the “Don’t Say Gay” Bill. Last March, the company announced it would end its political donations in Florida and instead support organizations in opposition to the law.

In the midst of DeSantis’ feud with the Disney Company, Fort Bend County Judge JP George, the chief executive officer of Fort Bend County, Texas, wrote a letter inviting the company to relocate to his area and avoid “authoritarian, anti-business, and culture war attacks from extremists in Florida.”

The letter, addressed to CEO Bob Chapek, promoted his county as an ideal location for the large amounts of purchasable land and its strategic location in the state of Texas.


“In fact, major employers like Amazon, Texas Instruments, Comcast, Gallery Furniture, and others have recently made vast investments in our community including thousands of good paying jobs with many more employers on the way,” George wrote.

In addition to inviting Disney to invest in Fort Bend County, the judge also invited Twitter to look into his home county as well.

What a hypocrite. The organization run by Graham and run formerly be his father has been trying to push it's agenda on the public for decades. Maybe their organizations status should be revoked. Pay taxes for that lavish lifestyle being lived on others money.

DeSantis was responding to a question about viral videos and photos of a small group of people wearing Nazi symbols yelling antisemitic slurs while demonstrating Saturday and Sunday on streets and highway overpasses in the Orlando area. While other Florida political leaders, including many Republicans, publicly condemned the gathering, DeSantis had not, sparking some criticism of the governor on social media.

DeSantis said those critics were trying to "use this as some type of political issue," adding: "We're not playing their game."

The remarks came a day after DeSantis spokeswoman Christina Pushaw posted and then deleted a tweet questioning if the demonstrators were actually Democrats in disguise.

My wife has participated in the Samaritan’s Purse thing at Xmas for several years. It is a worthwhile endeavor as far as it goes. But it strikes me as incredibly unChristian (and hypocritical beyond words) that ol’ Frankie can see himself riding into heaven because he encouraged others to provide some “Christian cheer” to disadvantaged brown and yellow babies in other countries, all the while being a first team cheerleader for a so called American “leader” who plays politics with American children who are disadvantaged (and please DO NOT tell me that trans gender or gay individuals are not disadvantaged in America…and becoming even more so because of insecure punks like DeSantis). I guess the only children that really count are white cis babies. But as long as those “third world shithole country” babies get inexpensive Xmas trinkets, St. Franklin will sit at the right hand of God. No way on God’s green earth Franklin Graham (or anyone who supports him) can honestly call themselves Christians. Disgusting.

I always liked Enes but he is the absolute master of telling everyone what they want to hear. Everywhere he’s ever played is the best city, with the best fans, etc, etc. In other words, his sincerity too many times came off insincere. Looks to me he’s just going wherever the wind blows……….hard to understand why a guy who stood up to Erdogan would cosy up to a fascist like DeSantis.

I make a conscious choice to NOT live in a rat hole like Florida. Their fascist governor does not have the right to Floridize Oregon…..or anywhere else for that matter. Ron DeSantis is a cynical, self serving piece of shit who is trying to get to the White House on the backs of people who were stupid enough to buy his bullshit. Which says volumes about Floridians. And if you think “Election Police” isn’t a fascist ideal, then you are you are utterly clueless as to what “democracy” means. And I don’t have to “prove” anything. Everything I (or anyone else with a functioning brain) needs to know is right in front of my (our) eyes. It’s not my fault you appear to be blind…..or is it just being willingly obtuse….??? If/when the Republicans retake control, democracy is dead. Pure and simple.
