We're co-leading the AL Central with the Twins now, and starting a four-game set against the Blue Jay in Canada. Craig Monroe hit a game-winning grand slam in the 12th inning to help the Tigers beat the Orioles. Wilfredo Ledezma got the win, Todd Jones with the save. Discuss.
 
I was going to go to last night's game, but I got the flu. :ranting: Anyway, Inge got his first hit of the season. :drunk: C-Mo is so clutch, I remember hearing last year that in clutch situations(something like with runners on in the 7th inning or later) his batting average was second in the MLB to David Ortiz. Don't remember all the details, but it was something along those lines.
 
Brandon Inge is batting an amazing .040 somehow.... I thought Craig Monroe was actually best in the league after the 7th inning, he was clutch as hell last year
 
I wonder what the people who said that Inge isn't a problem at the plate are saying now. I don't care if he fields every single ball. If he can't hit, that's one spot in the lineup that's wasted.
 
I'd be happy with the same numbers he put up last year. .253 83 RBI and 27 HR from the 9 hitter works for me.

They wont stay in No.1, the Indians are gonna takeover sometime soon and take the No.1 spot. W00t.
 
Hasn't Cleveland supposed to have done that the past like four seasons?

If you beat up bad teams, and go around .500 against the good ones, you'll be in the playoffs every year.

I would be pretty disappointed considering the quality of those three teams.And yeah, you did do a lot last season. Which is why you should expect to sweep at least one of those teams (THE f*cking ROYALS).I don't dislike the Tigers at all, but I don't know why everyone's tooting their horn.

We have only scored over 4 runs twice this season. And when we aren't playing as well as we should, and still manage to win 5 of 8 games, I consider that a success. You may be a great team by the end of the season, but these are some pretty poor teams you're playing right now. I don't care what record the Twins have, which was seemingly the point at the beginning of the topic. OMG we're #1 again! Big deal, it's the second week of the season.I like the Rangers, but even I can admit how sh*tty they play as of late. I miss 1996 :no1:edit: and I hate Sosa
 
Inge goes 2-3 tonight, with a solo shot, RBI single, and sac fly. Zumaya gets the save, and Maroth looked good judging by the stats. Hopefully he can step up and help fill the loss of Rogers, and become the player he was going to be before the injury.
 
Inge trippled his batting average, he's now up to an enflamed .120 batting average.

Blue Jays are definately a solid team. Both Detroit teams are in Toronto today;Tigers @ BLue JaysPistons @ Raptors
 
Todays tigers game will probably be really low scoring. Its a opening day rematch of Bonderman v Halladay.
