Doubt they'd have interest in Dre, so would have to include Joel's expiring. I'd throw in Jerryd and Babbit.

Looks like NJ is looking to move Harris in order to get Carmelo. Denver wants a descent wing back in the deal

I do admit that this game was sweet back in the day :P

Not sure we have the wing player they want, but we certainly have young talent to offer if they wanted (And probably should) go that route. Elliott Williams or Babbitt plus Joel? Maybe work something out where Rudy goes to NJ in the deal? Not sure how that would work though.

Too bad Rudy killed his trade value. :(

I want Harris but not at the cost of Batum. Harris dropped off so badly last season I thought I saw he'd been cast in the new Titanic movie.

He still put up 17/6.6 in his titanic year.

Devin Harris would be a worse fit with Brandon Roy than Andre Miller is. He only ever looked good when they designed the entire offense round him.

If he could be the player he was when the Mavs went to the Finals, then he'd be a great role player. I don't think he'd be ready to revert to that.

I'd be interested in Devin Harris. Pretty much any combination of players not including Roy, Oden, Aldridge or Batum works for me. Whether it works for New Jersey depends on how much they now value Harris. Last off-season, it would be unthinkable without any of those four players. This off-season, after a poorer season from Harris, who knows.

Screw Harris. I want Paul.

Trade scenario lost in another thread:

Just for fun, here's a hypothetical 4 team mega-trade that I like a lot better:

Portland: Out - Oden, Rudy, & Miller, In - Chris Paul
Denver: Out - Anthony, In - Oden, Rudy & Deng
NOH: Out - Paul, In - Rose, Taj Gibson, & Joe Johnson
Bulls: Out - Deng, Rose, Gibson, Johnson, In - Anthony & Miller

Trade Machine

It would be painful for the Bulls to part with Rose, but Carmelo is a pretty big prize and Miller could fill in ably for a couple of seasons. The Hornets come out with a PG arguably of the same caliber as Paul and garner some immediate cap relief. Portland gives up on Oden...which sucks, IMHO, but gets one of the best PGs in the game and still has Camby and Przybilla to play center. Denver gets Oden, who still has the potential to be a franchise player, plus an able SF to replace Anthony.

Wasn't he injured last season. I thought he played well when he was healthy.

In other words, he's not foreign so he's a steaming pile of poo.

The year they went to the finals they had a lot of good offensive weapons. (Like Dirk) I didn't think the offense was ever designed around him. Do you mean he only looked good when the ball was in his hands? You may be right as he is not the best outside shooter. (although he has a decent mid range shot) But no doubt he can get to the basket in a hurry.
