are you kidding me this is the craziest day of my life my agent just confirmed i may be headed to portland.. this better not happen
2 minutes ago via web

It's not verified yet but Harris started his twitter account today and apparently the same Nets writer who broke the Williams trade confirms it's the real Harris.

LOL. It's been crazy. Oh man, this trade deadline trumps all others. I don't have any idea what's going on.

Damn, dude really doesn't want to be traded here? God forbid he has to change his twitter background image again.

Said he might get traded to Bobcats or PDX in his next tweet. Crazy

What do you think the deal would be? Dre or Joel + filler and draft picks?

Don't even know if it's his real twitter. Whatever, at least deadline is amusing.

That's gotta be fake. Who starts a Twitter account the day they get traded?

Reading this account it's pretty obvious it's not him.

I'm betting it's a Utah Jazz fan.

this only makes sense if agustin is going to utah and miller is going to charolette, unless utah wants miller?

Hmm...I can't see the Jazz trading with us. They hate our guts after the repeated attempts by the Blazers to take away their restricted free agents.

no not even supposed to be doing this but it is real chris broussard article coming soon on espn

-same guy

according to sources the deal is almost complete. jazzget stephen jackson in deal

-same guy

Here's my thought: We're trying to get Harris AND Wallace in a three way. Presumably we'd get them for Dre, Przy and pieces. Fire up the Trade Machine!

Who the fuck is this Josh Whitling?

That would be a insane. Again, too good to be true.

Or we get neither. God damnit. I'm tired of this trade rumor shit already. 1 week has been long enough.

I totally empathize with DEN/NY/NJ fans for bearing with this so long.

Watch, as we get nothing...again.

They hated us long before that. I moved there in 98' and was quite surprised at the comments made by Jazz management about the Blazers organization.

I really should just not look at the interwebs until friday morning.

The red flag that led me to believe this is a Jazz fan:

"This better not happen!"

A rebuilding Jazz team combined with living in Salt Lake City, I highly doubt Devin Harris, or most NBA players, would willingly want to stay in that situation.

Like what? I didn't think we did anything to cross them before the Milsap and Matthews thing.

Cockblocked by Utah. Can't say as we don't deserve it.

Not Harris.

The other account is interesting though.

An NBAer said that's not his account:

ripcityproject Sean Highkin
SOMEBODY CONFIRM OR DENY RT @CardboardGerald: @ripcityproject Anthony Morrow said it was fake twitter.com/#!/BlackBoiPac…

They had a problem with Paul's wealth. Portland was a small market like SLC but trader Bob was able to assemble a lot of talent due to Paul's money and not the "right way" like the Jazz did. They would always take cheap shots at the Blazers on the radio.

I see. Thanks for the insight. It's nice to have an idea about how the Blazers are viewed outside this city.
