Mavs got what they deserved for being an over - rated and over - hyped team - Kidd (who owuld be the symbol of the mavs decline)

I as a Mavs fan was upset when Devin got traded. I believed that Devin was one of the main reasons why the Mavs succeeded because of his driving and defense. Kidd would only be a liability on defense against the likes of Nash, Tony Parker and Chris Paul, etc.

Devin will be a good player, but I still don't see him becoming a star of a team. He can play the role of a sidekick, but not the main man.

As for the Mavs being overrated and overhyped, I highly call consistent 50 win seasons with a 67 win season and a trip to the finals as overhyped and overrated.

-__- I can understand what you feel about those comments... I for one was against the trade but as a fan, I had no choice but accept it and see positive... By far, there's no winner in the trade. When we trade the furture for now, we have to win now. Or we fail. Only time tells. However, Avery should have loosed Devin and let him play. Well, I'm so happy to see him playing in high level (at least at home -__- don't know why he suddenly played sorry on the road), though in another uni. I believe he was traded as a scapegoat. Let play tell. Go Devin!

it's never a good feeling to know you've just been swindled...that's why your mind comes up with all sorts of reasons to convince yourself it's not true...
the mavs just gave up their future for a HOFer that got exposed as an aging pg who is now only good at one thing after coming to the powerful west conference...harris is now better than kidd at everything except at setting up teammates and running the break...but after another career-high in assists (15) and seeing him run the fastbreak in nj...even that is becoming debatable...
