"See - we didn't need those second round picks!"

Or is it an admission that none of our SL point guards is worth jack?

Would seem unlikely that signing a bench player (who is 29) would be a signal we're trading our leading scorer.

Especially one that stands 6' tall (barefoot) and who is average at best at shooting.

Of all the teams to collect the cast-offs of, why have we picked Charlotte? I mean, they're bad, so anyone they don't want to keep is either bad (so we don't want them) or a barrier to tanking (so we don't want them) or not a player you want on a rebuilding team (you get the idea).

Yeah I don't get it at all. A short ~average shooter? WTF

Choosing a 6'1 guard increases our chanches at Cooper flagg despite Sharpe, Scoot, Clingan, Avdija balling well. It means Simons is on the way out as part of a Markannen multi-team trade next week

We're not looking for anybody who might be a leading scorer. We're looking for somebody who can fill in and be not much better if at all better than our two young guys.

And, I'm just being hopeful. Can't I just be hopeful?

If Graham is anywhere near as good as Sharpe/Scoot, we're in big big trouble!

I think some on here have already forgotten what next season’s mission is.

Perfect! That's exactly what we're looking for to take some of the minutes that will be freed up after Simons is dealt!

I don't know who "we're" is referring to... I'm not looking to get significantly worse (talent wise) than we already are. The current hole we're already in is likely to take a lot of years and luck to get out of!

Now if Scoot and Sharpe had shown to be the future of the franchise, I could possibly be talked into the idea. Unfortunately, they have not, up to this point.

And they never would with Simons and Grant here making their teammates worse.

If they aren't "it" then we need to find out now.

This is absolutely going to take a long time to dig out of. We need to stop kneecapping ourselves with play-in caliber (at best) talent and get on with it.

I love this signing. It’s the only way to try and keep up with the Lakers’ undersized PG Bronny in the West. We have to stay competitive against a stacked team lead by James Jr! This moves the needle!

WTF is an undersized PG??? Definitely not a dude that's 6'2". That's about what you'd expect from a point guard if that's what you consider him.

Remember Joe said that K Murray & R Rupert were lottery type win now players. How does a GM say such a thing, unless he believes it?
