"Zeller outplayed Leonard in their first workout" - Jason Quick

"We got word two days ago from a few sources that it was actually Leonard that destroyed Zeller head-to-head" - Chris Haynes

Haynes mentioned this a few hours before the draft. Did Jason Quick report this from the 5 min. media members were able to catch? And was he peeking through the blinds?

I noticed this as well. Didn't spend the time to go back and double-check my recollection, but that's how I remember it. I have no doubt the organization uses the media, whether the media is intentionally fed bad info, or is told what to put out to the public.

Shit, if I were covering the team.... I would happily lie to the masses for the org if it meant I got real info from the team.

A smoke screen for NO maybe?
I'd heard and read in quiet a few places that Zeller outplayed Leonard then right as the draft starts Mike and Mike and Haynes say Leonard absolutely destroyed Zeller. Up until a day before the draft, everyone figured NO would be choosing between Zeller/Leonard with their pick.
