im just wondering because i just read through the posts on page 1 and i only see the same 4 to 5 people posting all the time. maybe its because we are playing so bad and people have had enough. cant really blame them i guess i was just making sure this forum was still active is all.

It's active but with the way things are going the funeral is beginning. Football is going to start taking over.

It's expected. I mean there's really not a whole lot to cheer about now.

What's the roster situation like going into next season?

There's going to be a great deal moving pieces around & filling in the blanks. The following players are in there last season with the team. Cano (15M), Granderson (13M), Kuroda (15M), Pettitte (12M), Youkilis (12M), Rivera (10M), Hughes (7M) That's 84M right there.

So there is something to talk about :)

Yeah nobody had been on lately not even 59...He seemed to drop off the face of the world. Hoping he is ok? Been pretty depressing watching the games lately and I think most people have given up on the team.

The losses last Thursday and Friday to the Sox pretty much deflated this team to the point where finishing over .500 is now the best they can do.

As a long time Yankee fan, I honestly believe that Yankee
management has given up on the team...................
long before the fans. I really believe there is no hope
for this team.

I'm standing by my assertion that this team will be sold.

I wish Messiah but I don't think so. I think we are stuck with Hal and Levine running this operation for a few more years.

I have a wish that Jeter saved enough of his career earning to partner with an investment group, buy the Yankees from the Steinbrenner Tadpoles, and get knowledgeable baseball people running this organization.

Not to mention A-Rod's money coming off due to the suspension...

They should have traded away Cano among others when they had the chance... now they are screwed...

I share your opinion. Then again it's pretty obvious.

I checked on both the reddit board & the 1903 board & he's not posted there either. Not like him to not post for this long.

yeah he is always posting so I find it odd that he hasn't been on anywhere in quite a bit. Sending good thoughts his way and hope all is well.

It's prob been years since 59 has gone this long without posting. He's prob just on vacation, but I too hope all is ok.

Someone can send him a private message (PM) and he may get an email telling him to come to the site and read it :)

Yanks will be in a state of do nothing until they find out if their getting out from under a-rods 25 mill next season. If not, they do nothing, team will suck and if I'm Girardi despite him saying how he loves this job I might be looking to get the hell out of there if there is a good situation elsewhere and the team wants him. If a-rods money available maybe they buy a few players and stay semi competitive but with shit farm system and no leadership will be just mediocre. No matter what happens they need to fire Cashman and get someone in here who recognizes talent and can build an organization with a productive farm system

So like the great Western "SHANE", Well, 59! 59! Come Back!

Crane try to understand, We can't get Cashman to pick up players during the trade deadline, talking about the roster seems ridiculous to the true Yankee fan who has talked all season and has been rewarded with total incompetence from the Front Office.

Cashman has been missing in action all season. Girardi has been taking all the bullets.

We can only hope that the meeting earlier this month with the steinbrenner wannabes was to tell him to shut up and his ass is out of here the second this season ends.

It seems to me the Yankees are stuck with some really big contracts on players who aren't worth the money anymore.

What moves could they have made?

Bingo. ...so easy to be the monday night armchair qb. The best part is hearing about other organizations farm systems...messiah it sounds like Dump is talking about the rangers prospects...who gives a shit about potential prospects. The team went out and got stop gap players going that arod grandy text and jeter would play significant time this year.

the dimished mind of a soon to be 40 year old
