QUOTE

That is likely to be a key question when a former Knick official's sex discrimination case goes to court Monday in New York. Barring a settlement, Anucha Browne Sanders and Isiah Thomas will battle before a jury as Sanders tries to prove Thomas sexually harassed her and other Knick employees. Sanders claims Petra Pope, then head of the Knick City Dancers, said Thomas asked her to flirt with refs before a 2004 Nets' game. Pope is now the Nets' vice president of entertainment and event marketing

I'm confused. Are there new details to this old story?

From what I understand, accusations involving cheerleaders flirting with Refs, has just been brought up. The rest of it is old.

That information came out at the end of June

Just checked the link you gave and it was last updated July 1st

Hmm, that's odd. It popped up as a new story, on netsdaily.com.

Never mind.

It goes to trial on Monday, barring a last minute settlement.

Haha, Isiah Thomas is awesome! Awesome!

Funny little tidbit. I've meet several of the Knicks city dancers in the oddest manner. They were having the voting on NBA.com for which team had the best cheerleaders. They were pitted vs. the Nets' dancers. So I was headed to work, walking out of Grand Central when this one came up to me, handed me a flyer and asked me to vote for them. 5 steps later another one tried to hand me this flier and I flashed the one in my hand... AND then 5-10 feet later it happened again.

But to be fair, they are the best Knick related entity to watch at MSG.

That post reminded me of what happened just before our merge. Some Seattle Sonics cheerleader created an account over at JBB, and then procceeded to make a thread, where she asked members to vote for her in some cheerleading competition. How desperate can you be? Surely enough, one of our members (Umair) tried to hook up about with her, as well. That was hilarious!

*Sorry Umair.

I can't blame Umair. She is a cheerleader for a reason. She has got to be somewhat attractive!

Yeah, you can say that. However, everyone was voting for her opponent.
