Did the article ever get written?

I wonder if he'd like to rethink his position about joining the Portland "bandwagon" after the Blazers killed the Thunder by more than 30 points two times in a row.

Now you're just being silly. We beat them in OKC by 35. A week later, we only beat them by 30. You can't see the dramatic improvement in the Thunder? At this rate, by early June they'll have overtaken us!

One of the ESPN guys (Bucher?) was going to write an article about how the Thunder
have a better future than the Blazers. Did it ever get written? What did it say?

Bucher has an article on the Thunder:
http://insider.espn.go.com/nba/insi...espn.go.com/nba/insider/news/story?id=4052136

but I don't have ESPN insider to check it out. Anybody?
I don't have the insider anymore, but I read somewhere that he ended up leaving the Blazer comparisons out of his Thunder article. I also would like to hear from someone who can read the article if this is true

It is true. There is no Blazer comparison, unless I missed it. The Thundercats have a good chance at being a lot better over the next few years, but what some forget is that Portland is actually younger than they are and already better. We also have an owner who has proven he is willing to pay for a title.

Call me when the Thunder even sniff the playoffs. They haven't even got to the point we were at last year.

I agree with this. In Roy and Aldridge's 2nd year (playing without Oden, their high profile rookie), the Blazers won 41 games. In Durant and Green's 2nd year (playing with Westbrook, their high profile rookie), the Thunder have only been able to win either 22 or 23 games.

And I'd much rather have Allen as owner than Bennett.

I have insider and it was a huge article in ESPN the magazine about it. It doesn't mention the Blazers though, so only if you want to read a Thunder slurp fest it would be worth it..

It's pretty big and I would post it if requested.
