The Ike to Sac deal helped facilitate the Bulls trade which blocked an attempt by Houston to get Salmons from the Kings.

My friend says plan B is looking good right now, but some people are going to be upset with who goes.

This is from a guy named "Sug" on OLive. (Doesn't he post here too?) He's been giving trade "updates" for the day apparently. Take it for what it's worth, because obviously he can be bsing.

I think if Sergio or Outlaw are dealt, there will be a very bimodal response... some people are pretty invested in rooting for or against each of those guys.

I love Sergio Rodriguez as a player. I think he's the perfect PG for our White Unit.

Can't be Sergio. I don't know anybody in the city (other than Maris) that thinks this guy can play.

Same. My ideal future lineup is a Bayless/Sergio tandem. But I wont be sad if Sergio leaving gets us a player like Wallace or Butler. Jefferson may be another story.
 
FYI posted on another thread 95.5 said we through in another 1 million cash in this deal. Looks like we wanted a trade exception........

It depends. If it can be used in combination with players, then it's a very attractive asset to trade to another team since it represents an instant cash savings.

If it can't be...I don't know why Portland would want it.
