Damian Lillard hit a go-ahead free throw with 11.8 seconds and the Portland Trail Blazers edged the Toronto Raptors 106-103 Saturday night.

After Lillard hit two free throws to regain the lead for Portland, Toronto had a final chance, but Matthews forced DeRozan into a turnover. Batum hit two free throws with 0.1 seconds left to seal the win.

Is this an alternate universe? Didn't Dame make a layup to put us ahead?

You are correct. Lillard made a floater off glass to get the lead. Batum hit two free throws to make the final score.

They might've been confused because Lillard was fouled with us down one and less than 20 seconds remaining butit was deemed not a shooting foul and they had one to give. Someone who went to the bathroom after the foul was called might've thought Lillard hit free throws to take the lead

I'm wondering if they saw that Dame was fouled, then he scored to get two points, and they thought he got the points off free throws? I really don't know how they make that mistake.

That is exactly right. They left the room or looked away and then saw we were up one and wrote that we made FTs.

Probably just read the play by play on espn

Ive often wondered this same question of many of the posters here (mixum, carlito, brock, OIG, SlyPokerDog)

I just assume that when someone busts out advanced stats.
