Do the mods do much here? That's not a dig at them.... That's a serious question, because after the Nazis that had BBF on lockdown, this place seems like it's run by a bunch of damn hippies.

We can swear, we can post risque pictures, there are even some snarky remarks/digs made directly to posters, and it's okay (as long as it doesn't get too crazy). Hell, I was starting to feel like we couldn't even be sarcastic or make jokes about each other on BBF.

I came here because Hap/Dan had a meltdown in the BBF OT forum and started deleting posts that were critical of Obama. He then had other moderators start banning posters.

It was one of the greatest moderator meltdowns in internet history.

Like I said, I wasn't knocking you guys. I appreciate the overall atmosphere here. I've never been a mod, so I wouldn't know what else you guys do besides the stuff that is very obviously deleted/removed/changed, like 50% of the posts on BBF. So I salute you guys.

Yeah, the nice thing here is you can go to a different thread, or ignore it more easily, or even block/ignore posters. There, if two or three people went at it, it would fill the entire line, and even if you tried to change subject, and others joined in, that thread would quickly get buried by more back and forth. Then, the worst was when cup would hit the report button, and because you were in the thread, you get the 24 hour ban.

I was originally on blazerslisttalk(funny I got a spam from Tula Top's account today from that list) then went to basketballforum, eventually became a mod there. What came down happen in the off subject forum which I never visited so I didn't even know what happen until everyone migrated here. It looked like a big problem at the end was a LA mod. Then I came here. For a while I still did game threads at the other list, I was a mod after all so I felt a responsibility to, but got tired of posting to myself so eventually gave up the ghost and just post here.
