if he could be our matt bonner i would be happy
Well, if he can just do what Rudy was supposed to do (shoot), he'll be OK.
Yeah, he CAN, but he wasn't allowed to do that here anyways, so Diebler only needs to replace Rudy's role on this team which was spot up shooter.Rudy can run the floor pretty well, and he plays passing lanes extremely well.
I don't think Diebler can do either of those things.
Ed O.

He's our Luke Babbitt, only cheaper. Because Pritchard's gone, we didn't have to pay to switch picks.

But NBA.com says he made 9 straight and 10 in the game. Next game, he missed 3, then hit 7 straight.Diebler hit 10 consecutive 3-pointers in a March 13 game against Penn State
http://www.nba.com/draft/2011/prospects/jon-diebler/Diebler holds the Big Ten record for career three-pointers with 374. A school-record 10 of those came in one game at Penn State. Diebler made 10-of-12 shots from behind the arc in that game, including nine in a row en route to a career-high 30 points. He followed that with a 27-point effort against Wisconsin where he made seven-of-eight 3-pointers. After missing his first three, he made his next seven.
Diebler sounds like Diener, who played for us in 2008-09.
Sounds more like Bieber, Justin. Who is apparently some sort of teen idol, not sure.
Here I am hard at work searching databases for coincidences in the #51 spot and you're thinking about Justin Bieber. Of course he's a teenage idol. I have a stack of his albums right here on top of the computer and I'm singing to them while I search for coincidences.
The Ohio State campus paper The Lantern, from the first post:

On March 1, Diebler made 10 3-pointers in a row while finishing 10-of-12 vs. Penn State, breaking the Ohio State record for most treys in a game. On March 6th, 2011 during Ohio State's senior day, Diebler made seven 3-pointers finishing with 27 points vs. Wisconsin.
