Dilemma!! Should I transfer to the college I want to go to?

This might be a dumb question, but I just want to make sure. Let's say I get a loan of $6,500. And let's say I don't use about $1000, can I use that money to help pay off the loan I originally took?

Sure but why would you?

IMO, just go to the school you want.

Also since you are staff you should see if Denny will pay for it. If he says no I think you and all the staff should have a cyber strike.

I don't know.

I don't know.

It's obvious that you don't know.

But if you can't trust a random guy on the internet who can you trust?

Seriously, you have a lifetime to make mistakes. You're worried about a little debt. That's it. Imagine if you have a wife and/or kid? Or you did something really dumb and financed a car. You're free to experience an adventure. TAKE ADVANTAGE OF IT!

No. The rules are you have to spend it on beer.

I transferred!

Good decision. Long-term, it was the smartest thing to do. I have very little doubt that the extra money is very well spent. (And I'm probably the stingiest person I know.)

I hope the chicks are hotter at Plattsburgh State!

ROTCs at my school never ever got any pussy. Everyone just assumed they were NARCs!

I was going to say something similar. Since you want to join the police, and you'll live in a dorm, support yourself by being a narc. Just befriend innocent victims, turn them in, ruin their lives, and make your $6000 per year that way. You'll graduate with no debt, if you're still alive. Then you can get an overpaid government job sponging off the taxpayers.

For my tax money, I'd rather that 6k go to someone who does the right thing than someone who'll blow that 6k on booze and drugs. And if you can get paid training....that's a great deal!
