10. Portland Trail Blazers (40-24) — Is anyone else rooting for a Blazers/Lakers playoff series? Ideally the Blazers land a four or five-seed and it happens in the second round, but with the West playing out the way it has, it could very well be the 1-versus-8 matchup. Either way, Portland won’t be an easy out for L.A.

Give us LA in the second round. That'd be great, and would mean we'd win a first-round series. Anything more than that would be gravy for this team, and I bet we could take the Lakers to six games. Normally, I'd LOVE to play the Lakers? But, invariably, over the years, they've been our biggest playoff nemesis. Times are a-changin', though, right?

Yeah, I agree. Winning a first round series and then playing the Lakers tough in the second round would be a great, great result for this season, despite the very likely loss to LA, IMO. Get playoff experience winning a series and going through a battle with a top team.
