I probably eat more venison than beef. I usually get whitetails which taste considerably better than mule deer, not really gamey at all. Salt, pepper and olive oil is all you need on a steak. I really like elk too, but have yet to bring one home, quite a challenge with a bow.

Elk are clearly the best.
Steak needs only salt and no oil. I'm a purist.
By the way, heavily salted steak should get their salt half an hour before cooking to bring those delicious juices that form that magnificent crust to the surface.

Grilled/smoked wings with a dunk in blue cheese dressing, then in Sweet Baby Ray's bbq sauce is one of my favorite combos. Not for everybody. I git it.

That choice is my close second. I'm the guy that choose sweet and sour sauce. I eat Chinese food so much, that it is the go to sauce for me.

I love it with my barbecued pork or Chinese deep fried shrimp along with Chinese mustard along with the pork and and ice cold Tsing Tao and with the shrimp also along with Chinese mustard. Toasted sesame seeds work very well with both dishes.

Ketchup or catsup?

In NJ Ketchup and same for Pittsburgh. Weird little towns in Ohio would call it catsup as they drink their pop.

It's kinda weird down here in that everything is a "Coke". "I'll have a Coke." "What kind?" "A Dr. Pepper."

My mayo,/ketchup mix with a splash of sriracha and a pinch of horseradish and salt/pepper is the bomb with fries. Actually, I prefer tater tots. Fries, if they're the hand-cut type. If I go to a restaurant, I generally don't order fries during their busy times as the temperature of the oil is usually lower. I hate greasy fries.

ABM, I order my fries without salt. This means they have to prepare a new batch. Result: Hotter oil, hotter french fries. I don't salt my fries but if you do then salt them at your table.
