Wow!
The San Jaoquin Valley dd not fare so well.
But I don't think the fellow walked SW 6th to the Train station either. Nor from the Aqua Marine Park to the Marina district in San Francisco either. You really need to brush up on your hopscotch to make those hikes these days.

and here we have a president that wants to reduce regulations on clean air and water? Could it be to help the big corporations to make more profits regardless of the cost to the environment?

Real men have no problem walking that route. If you need an escort let me know as my daughter lives near the Pearl District and could possibly protect you. :bgrin:

Most of these filthy shitholes are in California, the most regulated state in the Union.

and your boy is removing or reducing even more regulations where he can. Do you think that will improve the quality?

I normally would not see this post, but I did when I was not signed in.

It does give me a chuckle. Now think of this quote in conjunction with the need to be up to speed with HopScotch.
Does that connect?

A little perspective perhaps?? My mother in law was raised in Fresno and moved to Oregon as a new bride in the early 1940’s, where she remained the rest of her life (aside from visits home). This was LONG before any kind of regulations whatsoever were in place. In 1977 she became seriously ill. When the doctor (who was not familiar with her) did a chest X-ray, his very first question was if she had grown up in the San Joaquin Valley. She never took a single puff of tobacco in her life yet she died of full blown lung cancer. Lung disease and related cancers have been an issue with Central Valley residents for more than a century (if not longer). The general catchall name used to be “Valley Fever”. I can only imagine (barely) how bad their health would be, or how bad their air and water quality would now be without those now enacted regulations you seem so allergic to. That said, Fresno has absolutely nothing whatsoever to recommend it, but let’s at least try not to drown in your hyperbole......
