Speculation is the Heat have to release a player to sign Mike Bibby. One of the players rumored to be released is Juwan Howard. Should we bring him back to help out with backup C duties?

Well, I'm not against the idea, but that's just another face that needs to be integrated into the lineup. I'd rather try to find another point guard because right now Rudy and Roy in the backcourt isn't working too well.

YES.

We have one PF and one C for the entire team.

Hell yeah, dude is all chemistry and has a pretty little jump shot. He does a lot for the organization

let's hope they waive MaGloire!

Juwan would be a great pick-up at this point. He knows the players and the system and can play 4 and 5. We have two spots open, so signing him doesn't preclude signing a PG as well.

If we're going to do it, I hope we do it soon because this is the time to get everyone squared away so we have chemistry by the time playoffs roll around.

We should know by tomorrow since it's the last day for a player to be waived and be eligible for the playoffs. The TJ Ford buyout is still undecided.

I am all for going after Juwan. I heard we went after Earl Barron, but he decided to sign with Milwaukee instead. We need size and Juwan knows our system and could come in a play 8 minutes a game no problem.

Juwan Howard, who led us last year to 50 wins, makes his midrange shots, which is unusual on our roster. He plays two positions. Here is our ENTIRE roster. Would he help a great deal, even when Camby returns?

C
Marcus Camby

PF
LaMarcus Aldridge
Luke Babbitt

SF
Gerald Wallace
Nicolas Batum

SG
Wesley Matthews
Rudy Fernandez
Brandon Roy

PG
Andre Miller
Patrick Mills
Armon Johnson

Bringing back Juwan Howard would be way cool!

He'd be a good practice player and for leadership, but I doubt he'd find playing time.

His greatness would shine down on us all. Now we make the second round.

Juwan Howard, who led us last year to 50 wins...
...did so in his spare time when he wasn't busy pioneering cancer treatment methods and balancing the budget of every country in the world.

Start him over Aldridge and we cruise to the championship baby :smiley-pucaodsmijeh

According to Canzano its going to be Jarron Collins, not Juwan Howard. Take it for what its worth.

Juwan Howard

on 955 the Game tonight they were saying that Miami will let Juwan Howard go to make room for Bibby and Murphy.

I say we sign Howard. He knows the system and is a big body that can even play center in a pinch. He did last year for us.

Re: Juwan Howard

Can't happen. There is some serious bad blood between Buck Williams and Howard.

Re: Juwan Howard

From when Buck was head of the players association and Howard was coming into the league.

That was what, 17 years ago? I would hope they've gotten over it by now.

They will never get over it, it was ranked higher than the Shaq/Kobe feud.

I would just like Juwan back so I can look at his black Ferarri.
