With all due respect...do yourself a favor and dont get a tattoo on your chest...I assume you are a chick

Why do you assume I am a chick?

I want something like this on my chest. But without the gay brass knuckles (and my sons name\bday).

lol imma dude man. Am I not allowed to have an angel on me? If you really wanna know, it represents my ex wife. She had this big things with angels. So when we got a divorce I got a fallen angel on my shoulder.

It looks like that.

No tats. But if I was going to get one, which I'm not, I'd put one of those "100 things to do before you die" lists on my back, with checkboxes, and then put a checkmark in the box each time I did one. Then whoever finds my body can score me on how well I did.

"uh oh, this guy gets a C-, he only completed 7 out of 10"

I just think they are stupid, but hey do what ya want it is your body. However, I always figured if I wanted to mark myself somehow I would get a brand of some sort. I like scars.

I guess that might sound like a bit of a contradiction huh?

I have one tattoo. I grew up next to a man and woman who owned a tattoo shop. I was really close friends with them and once helped them landscape their frontyard. Afterwards, they gave me a stereo system for my truck and told me that I could get any tattoo I wanted for free. After a couple years of never knowing what I wanted, or if I wanted anything at all, I decided on drawing my own tattoo based on a photo I took. It is a piano's keyboard taken from a sort of strange angle so the keys kind of fade into a sort "vanishing point". It is on the chest and turned out really great. I got it there so it is "mine". In general, it doesn't show all off the time and I don't feel like I am showing it off or anything. But, if I feel like showing to someone, it is my choice. I kind of dig that.

I do not. A good friend of mine just started tattooing as a career, so i've been giving it more thought lately.

That looks tight man. Gonna get it colored in?

Your still young though. I didn't get my first tat till I was 26. You will find something that you like enough to put on your body in time. Then you will be hooked lol

I agree. I didnt get my first until I was 33. There is no doubt I'll still be happy with it when I'm 60+. I have several friends that got tattoos when they where in their early 20's who wish they would have waited because they regret getting the ones they did back then.

Like HCP, 2 of my tattoos include my kids names. 1 for each of my boys.

at first, I thought you meant you were going to get a ridiculous handlebar mustache on your arm.

My brother had a girlfriend from 7th grade until his freshman year. After high school, they were each going to different colleges, so they thought they'd cement their bond by getting matching tattoos on the small of their backs. It's a design with no wording, so it could be generic, but it was a design they both liked. Of course, they broke up a few months into their freshman years, but the tattoos remain.

Now, my brother's wife refers to that tattoo as "The Tramp Stamp".

I wanna get a picture of your ugly Chris Farley lookin baby on my back!

No man should ever. EVER. EVER EVER EVER get a tramp stamp!!!!!!!1

I am ink free. I like tattoos on other people but I fear commitment. I bought a house 15 years ago and I'm still not sure if I'm grown up enough to handle it. :dunno:
