Still happy with the same vehicle seven years on. Minimum maintenance, regular oil changes and the Benz is still beasting.

We thought about getting a Mercedes and about getting a BMW but the maintenance turned us back to the Swedes. The money we're shelling out for the Volvo would be nearly enough to get us that Mercedes or that BMW.
Another factor in our decision was the Billions of dollars the Chinese have invested in new engineering of the Volvo.
We probably would have gone for another Camry but they don't make one with All Wheel Drive, so that lets them and all the other Japanese cars out of the running because they don't have AWD on their sedans.

Original question : foreign. Although i own two American cars now and like them. I think I’ll always have a Tahoe or Yukon as long as I have kids around. Love them.

German engineering is in a league of its own. They care not for simplicity. I swear they all get high on Peyote or something and sit around thinking of ways to complicate things unnecessarily.

We own a 010 V6 Toyota Rav4 and a 012 Honda Accord. Prior to the Honda was the 01 Subaru Outback. The last American car was a 1988 Olds 98 >>> One of my all time favorites was the 99 Avalon.
