All reports claim OKC will match but will wait for the very last second to confirm

All the reports are also based on what Presti said before receiving the offer as far as I know

No one knows anything

FWIW, Sam Amick is saying they have until "tonight"......whatever that means.

According to Royce Young, All we need to know is that they are going to match. So why banter back and forth?

Get your mind set and moving towards other hypothetical possibilities.

I think this Kanter was just the last gasp free agent possibility and now we'll be moving out of free agent mode and into trading mode. Likely we'll pick up an expiring contract or waived player.

Some kind of lopsided deal in the works. I like a deal that would bring both Terrance Ross and Demar Derozan to Portland. But I know Neil doesn't work that way.

Lordy, I hope you are right!

Could the delay be due to last-minute negotiations between Presti and Olshey? Maybe we'll get free players or some other surprise.

I personally think Presti is just taking it to the last minute. He knows what Portland's intentions were when signing him to that contract. It was either to acquire him or stick him with an very expensive contract.

Or force him to dump salary, giving a small pool of NBA ready players a marketplace like Portland

I think it's possible that Presti could match and trade Kanter to another team as well, or be weaving a three way deal with the Blazers. Olshey and Presti could both need the time to do a more complicated 3 team deal that helps both teams. Find out soon enough I guess.

Kanter's a Turk. You connected the 2 great crises into a circle. Good eye! I'm tired of linear thinkers calling us conspiracy thinkers. Now you need to find the underlying common cause.

I liked you more when you had swirling psychedelic visions of colorful Blazer schedule foldouts that banks give away.

What do they call the area around the White House? The Rose Garden.

'Nuff said?

Presti and Olshey are negotiating Durant's future right now, making us all wait. Olshey could use some sharp thinkers like us in his office. His assistants didn't show up on a Sunday.

Olshey, if you're reading this to find some advice, just PM us and we'll get over there.

And if you're not reading this for advice, could you please post what the exact deadline is?

Just acquired a player from Orlando for Future 2nd round pick. Anyone know anything about him?

I wonder if this tells us anything about the Kanter situation.
