There seems to be a lot of circumstantial data that would suggest that. Just wondering what your thoughts are on the topic.

I'm not sure either, but I did make sure to say historical and not biblical because many that dont believe in Jesus still believe there was a man named Jesus, and not just the good bowler.

I don't know if he was black, but coming from that part of the world, it doesn't seem like a high probability that He was white.

Olive skinned. Probably looked like an arab. Or Bin Laden.

Yes, Jesus was Black.

Oh, Snap! You said "historical" Jesus. I was thinking of the "non-historical" one.

My bad.

I prefer hysterical Jesus. See how happy he looks?

I think I remember that one. Was that taken when John farted sitting 'round the campfire?

There's a reason that John was known as one of the "sons of thunder".

wouldn't change much for me if he was, but I don't think so for many of the reasons in the thread.

Additionally, if you believe the genealogies, every male in his family going back a few dozen generations was Jewish. That's not to say that someone of another ethnicity couldn't have been mixed in there at some point along the line and passed along, but it would seem as if they'd be more Persian (Aryan) or Greek if that was the case, rather than Nubian or black Egyptian. :dunno:
