Why would you do something like that? Dude they are sold out everywhere. Sony and Microsoft say they are holding some consoles off due to high demand, I'm sure you'll have to spend the night outside if you want to get it day one.

I'm a PC gamer, so I barely keep up with console related news, but from a couple of things I heard recently you might be better served to wait a few months after their release - sounds like there could be some network related problems (for both platforms) that won't be resolved for at least a month or two.

Maybe i should just get one of these, do you think that and a 2500k will last me most of the next generation of consoles? The new Xbox sounds very underwhelming so far with its 720p output.
