I also think guys coming in to the league are a lot more skilled than in previous yrs. Like hitting threes off the dribble. Feel like every guard can do that these days. Wasn't the case even ten yrs ago

I'd agree ... that along with making defense much more difficult to play, has seen a glut in scoring. Read a lot of trade rumors where people think a guy like Ant is going to be in high value, but what he does is a dime a dozen in the league right now.

Blazers are hamstringing themselves running 2 tiny guards at 1 & 2. The backcourt defense is an abolishment. Blazers are once again fully committed to running an even more undersized backcourt duo then CJ/Dame.

Boldly stating that Dame/Ant are a perfect match because of all these offensive stats is smoke & mirrors. When the Blazer lose ugly like last night, it clearly shows how much the team is struggling to play defense. Opponents are getting free passes to the rim due to Dame being small of stature & Ant suffering from defensive ineptitude.

Blazers should be well below .500 with this 2 PG combo playing 40 minutes a night. The fact that Lillard has gone supernova recently has pulled his team from the dark depths of the cellar.
