does it cost money to call a radio station

I wanted to know if it costs money to call in a sport radio station like espn radio. I always wanted to call but never did because I was afraid of not getting through and if it costs money so does anyone know? or has anyone done it before?

they actually will usually have a regular number for morrons that will cost money then they'll have a toll free number aka 800 number

well it's espn radio I wanted to tell stephan a smith that the knicks need to play mardy collins.1-800-919-3776 I think is the number, so it's free correct? I don't wanna get in trouble when the phone bill comes out and it's like 5 bucks for 30 second call.
