Hold your party leaders accountable...I've said this already....stand with the truth...put a spotlight on what is maybe the most dangerous chapter for democracy in our national history and stop chuckling away the seriousness of the attempted coup....Trump is still spouting the big lie and your republican leadership currently is guilty of a major cover up..it's obvious..it should outrage you more than tipping a waiter who is trans or the homeless in San Francisco..when you start a thread and support Liz Cheney's efforts...you'll gain some respect. As it is....swept under the rug by your whole party with the."moved on" bullshit ...dead Capitol Police officers have moved on too...unfortunately for their families, not on earth. This is the number one issue to resolve for the health of American social structure and it starts with you.....sure, write your congress person, write your senator, make a noise...Liz Cheney is brave enough to jeopardize her political career for the truth...she needs your support. Cut and paste some truth for a change and not some sensationalized propoganda

I really don't think Trump is that powerful anymore. I see the Jan 6th hearings doing some major damage to him. Will he serve any time? I doubt it. I think he'll be rendered inconsequential, though.

There are only a few republicans that are willing to hold him accountable...your minority leader is shielding him just like all those who conspired to overturn an election and are still heads of your party...it's bigger than Trump..he is a figurehead but the McCarthy Mark Meadow, Clark, Jordan, etc crowd were conniving enough to lie for him and still do..it's your party's power structure that wants Trumps voters...if that means being bigoted to them it's worth it to have power back. Deal with your party and hold them accountable....you are part of the damage control...thinking it's no big deal will not fly this time around.

Meanwhile, what are the Democrats doing about this? Who are your up-and-comers? You can talk about accountability all you'd like. But, who are you going to replace the problem with?

They are holding your party leaders accountable...but not just them....also Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger....I will talk about accountability to every republican that wants a healthy America again...you have to weed that garden before you plant new seeds...your party is polluted to the core and getting traitors out of our democratic representation is the first priority for all citizens who want a peaceful harmonious society.. .fuck up and comers....I'm talking about deeply ingrained liars that are here today...I named a few...you need to point the finger at them as well and join in the fight for actual real attainable truth....you have shown zero empathy for the problem you had a part in planting into our govt...when you do I'll cheer for the effort ..until then...I don't want to hear about whataboutisms....I want to hear about accountability with bipartisan support. Interesting you mention voting....seems that overturning the vote with lies was a pretty big part of why they're being investigated and then redistricting minority voting access follows....what we need is equal and fair access to voting everywhere...not just in the red districts. Your party has been working hard to make it difficult to vote....when the mail order ballot works seamlessly in Oregon...sort of debunks the idea that voting is going to solve corruption...it should...but not when a president is demanding governors find more votes. Hopefully the committee will shine a big light on this bullshit narrative that the election was stolen and there's very little that's more important in today's America than regaining trust in democracy..

The official republican party has not though. They still support overturning a legitimate election. They are still actively gaslighting everyone with whataboutism and trying to convince everyone that Jan 6th was no big deal. They don't want accountability. I'm not sure everyone realizes how close we were to losing our democracy in January. And your party still supports that as a whole. Start there. Remember, the RNC's official position is that January 6th was "legitimate political discourse".

The Republican party as is, is dead.

With every republican you know or share political views with including your state representatives ..every honest American needs to get behind eliminating this attack on democracy but the house divided is squarely fueled by the GOP leadership and that needs a major shift towards support of our republic and not towards power at all costs. Until your party stands up to corruption at the highest level...your leaders will protect the lie because they think you're dumb...speak out and they'll start protecting themselves and your vote because they are very, very afraid of republicans who are smarter than they are..

The Jan 6th commision is going to make the 2022 midterms look a lot different than you think...it's been deadlocked for so long now that nothing surprises me...Biden is old but at least he's not dumb ...he's Jimmy Carter basically but I'm not worried about him....I want the GOP crooks in jail before the 2022 midterms..the public can be fickle ..Trump proved that..now is the time for all good people to come together in the aid of their county....On another note I lobby for everyone no matter your politics to boycott Fox news network...in the name of the truth

Let's keep the dialogue going. I'm certainly off that Trump train. Been off for quite awhile now. There are some I know who think he's still President and that Biden is an imposter. It's ridiculous.
