Isn't that your crazy uncle Fido?
I've never buried my dog by I have buried my cat complete with a makeshift wooden cross when I was about 7.Do dogs have souls and go to heaven?
Question every kid has?
@SlyPokerDog, here's my story. For 20 years My Wife and 3 kids (now adults) lived in the basement quarters of my Mother in laws house ( 1994-2014) where I was Lucky enough to have had 2 Rjhodesian Ridgebacks from young to departed. In 2015 after the Dogs departure We moved into a Condo in the smack middle of Honolulu next to Waikiki. Lately I've been begging my Wife to adopt but it's been a firm no every time, you see She has never had an indoor dog and never experienced it nd worries about cleanliness.
Today I show her your opening video and allowed it to do its magic, so thanks to you we are planning to Foster Dogs from the Hawaiian Humane Society after our trip to Portland in October ( hopefully my first Blazers game ). Big Mahalos for this thread my Friend!
Wow! That's really cool! Thanks for sharing.
Hey @SlyPokerDog - can you make the same video with a Maserati. I want to show it to my wife.
The Maserati is the poor man's Ferrari. Take a step up, my man. The sheer joy of owning a new Ferrari is worth the half Million dollar price. I own two. Of course, I eat a lot of peanut butter sandwiches and watch a portable black and white TV with rabbit ears antenna and live under a bridge. But, hey, I've got two Ferraris.Hey @SlyPokerDog - can you make the same video with a Maserati. I want to show it to my wife.
You don't need a wife when you have a Maserati.

You know, as an owner of a couple of old Alfa Romeos and a past owner of a Lotus - my experience is that women do not care one bit about what car one drives. It's only guys that seem to care.
Here is the dog we rescued a year and half ago.

Now that’s funny! The first date I had with my wife (we had been friendly for awhile) I was home on leave from the Navy and I borrowed my dad’s brand, spanking new 1973 Ford LTD. It was a nice ride but the door handles were located down low and recessed. When we got to the restaurant (the old Victoria Station) and parked, I got out my side and waited for her to get out her side. I went around the back of the car and waited for her but the door never opened. So I thought, “What a hoity toity snot” and went and opened the door for her. She literally burst out of the car snarling, “you wouldn’t have had to open the door for me if I could have found the door handle!” Boy was she pissed. I knew then that this was the girl I was going to marry.....You know, as an owner of a couple of old Alfa Romeos and a past owner of a Lotus - my experience is that women do not care one bit about what car one drives. It's only guys that seem to care. Last time an ownership of a car somewhat worked for me was when I met my wife way back when Niagra falls were still new. She thought I was a real gentleman because I opened the door of the Alfa Romeo I had at the time (a Spider) to let her in. She did not know that being an Alfa Romeo, the door handle on the passenger side worked only. from the outside. You could not open it from the inside.
I was shocked! There are some smart dogs around!I've seen Sly do this. I could watch him hour after hour.
Sly? Smart?I was shocked! There are some smart dogs around!
(Don't be surprised if my moniker actually does get changed this time.....) Lol
