What do I do with that? It's just not that tempting. Kind of makes me want to puke.

Great story.

There's something about unrequited love as displayed by the unrequited love of a dog that is energizing. It reminds me of my wife's love.

I am soooo telling your wife you just called her a dog.

I love good dogs...unfortunately I have new neighbors who have two blue tick hound, Doberman crossed evil dogs....they aren't well trained and have taken to attacking me, my wife and my guests...they don't go home when the neighbors call them and the poor wife of the owner of these dogs chases them around my property and up and down the road trying to contain them....they howl all night long and don't respond to kindness....we were patient...calm..tried to be nice and neighborly understanding they've only been here a few weeks....they lay their ears down, bare their teeth and come at us whether in the garden, picking blackberries or just playing guitar on my deck...I finally told them I can't handle it anymore...control them or I call animal control...haven't been bothered since..it's been about 3 days now without an attack..felt really bad but I can't live in dog hell because someone loves their psychotic pets...sorry to add this but I needed to tell my dog story...hopefully people will learn what it means to have dogs off leash and at least send them to obedience school if they can't train them themselves

River, buddy...all that text, and not a single mention that it was Trumps fault.

I knew a guy who's uncle, in Northern Idaho, lived next door to a problematic dog. He leaned out the upstairs window and shot the dog dead with his hunting rifle. No one complained, not even the owner of the dog. I guess that scared a lot of people witless..

Last attack by the male dog I got my baseball bat out of my truck.....I have a rifle but I can hit a fastball, curve ball or change up with either hand with a baseball bat....took a breath and just went in the house after calmly telling the neighbor they had to either deal with it or the county would. I don't want to kill an animal ..my heart condition probably couldn't take the adrenaline rush

I wasn't advocating that you kill any dogs. The story was more of an interest story.

You absolutely did the right thing.

Dog Surf - Surf-A-Thon, Del Mar Dog Beach, CA - unfortunately, the weather was not helpful as it was really foggy, which made photographing (and judging, I supposed) hard.

These are mostly from the "open" class - where the Dogs take humans on the boards. I believe that in the 2nd image the human could not hack it.
