Did the dog give permission to have it's kidney removed and then transplanted? I want to see the signature.

Yes, he did.

I just have to tell this story.
When I was a kid growing up in Oswego, Oregon, I had a dog we named Tonto, after the Lone Ranger's faithful Indian companion. Tonto was a monster German Shepard. He weighed 150 lbs. He used to go everywhere with me, fishing, swimming, riding my bike all over town. He would even gallop behind the car when we went to the local store. He followed me to school and stayed there until the bell rang signalling time to go home. When I went floating out on the lake with an innertube for a flotation device he would go out there with me allowing me to grab his tail so he could pull me around. When we moved to Portland there was a huge fire of some sort of large building somewhere around 19th and Irving or there abouts. He followed me, me on my bike. When I got home, I noticed he was nowhere to be found. OMG, I worried myself sick over him when suddenly after about three days or so, he just shows up. You've never seen a little boy so happy.
Then, I guess he ate something bad and got deathly sick. We took him to the vet where he stayed for a few days. I went to visit him once and he was terribly happy to see me. Shortly thereafter he died at the vet's place. I must have cried endlessly for one or two months. It was like losing someone in my immediate family. I know full well that he would have gladly given his life to save me should the need have arisen.
To this day, 60 years later, I think of him and I smile and then a tear rolls down my cheek. A little boy never loved a dog more.

Half Whippet, Half Pitbull.

When my dad was a boy he had a boxer. Another boy had a very large and very mean dog, I don't know what kind, and encouraged the two dogs to fight which happened. The big dog was taking advantage of the smaller boxer when suddenly the boxer got a hold of the larger dog's neck. Pretty soon the mean boy was crying and calling for an end to the dog fight. My father pulled his dog off the larger dog and never had a problem with either the mean boy or his mean dog again.

lmao...
it reminds of years ago I came home from a poker party feeling no pain, and my wife had me bury a cat that she swore up and down was ours, so I did. in the morning I discovered I buried someone else cat as Charlie was purring and rubbing up against my leg.

Are you sure it wasn't your cat as you know they do have 9 lives, lol.
