Administration must "facilitate" his return. Case sent back to lower court and government can decide how much information they can release. Expect whatever comes out of this court to be appealed. Because cruelty is the point.

Supreme Court could have ordered immediate release but did not.

The Trump administration said it would not provide information on how it will get a wrongly deported Maryland dad home by a Friday morning deadline because the timeframe a judge imposed was “impracticable.”

In effect, the Department of Justice (DOJ) is openly defying a court order that requires it to provide details about 29-year-old Kilmar Abrego Garcia’s whereabouts and how he will be brought back stateside.

Abrego Garcia was flown to a mega prison in El Salvador last month due to an “administrative error.” Despite the DOJ admitting their mistake, it argued it did not have the authority to bring Abrego Garcia home because he was now in the custody of El Salvador.

Maryland District Court Judge Paula Xinis, an appointee of former President Barack Obama, disagreed and ruled that Abrego Garcia must be returned stateside, where he has an American wife and child and was working legally as a sheet metal apprentice prior to being taken into custody by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) during what he believed to be a routine traffic stop.

The issue reached the Supreme Court on Thursday. The high court, which has a conservative majority, ruled unanimously that the Trump administration must take steps to “facilitate” the return of Abrego Garcia.

Administration lawyers said in court today a barely disguised fuck you. Also they are complying with Supreme Court order to facilitate return by saying they won't prevent his return if he returns on his own. From a prison no one has ever been released from. Also they are all powerful and no judges can correct them. Also they are powerless to ask El Salvador to return anyone.

According to news conference ten people were sent to Salvadoran concentration camp this weekend, after Supreme Court ruled they must have due process.
 
Senator Van Hollen was not allowed to meet with Abrego Garcia.

Two Republican congressmen were able to go to the concentration camps to pose for publicity photos. One flashed smiling thumbs up with tortured men in background and said he was more convinced Trump was right to send these violent criminals (with no criminal records) to concentration camp.

I've noticed how strikingly easy it is for those in the police, and even those in the military, to be more than willing partners in this shit.

Which is strange, since we are always told how they wouldn't be willing partners in this kind of shit.

He was handed the Presidency for the second time. What we do in 28 should be a priority.
 
Not sure of his national origin but both Cuban American and Venezuelan American communities in Florida heavily backed Trump.

They always were… this is no different than the Salem witch trials, the Spanish inquisition, J Edgar Hoover’s communist hearings, Reagan and Thatcher’s reaction to AIDS… all of it comes from the same regressive instinct: tighten the fist to kill your enemies and retain power.

This is shit we have to always be vigilant against if we want to stop it in time. We never stop it in time.
