Not from me.. I hate Hilary and I don't like Osama.

Re: Don Imus fighting back!

What if Howard Stern had said this? Would there have been a peep?

Re: Don Imus fighting back!

If a black reporter would say this about a white girls team it would be not a big deal at all this is way too overboard of a topic, now that he got fired I feel bad he doesn't deserve itAl Sharpton is just a fool

I'm sure Martin Luther king did not fight his heart out to get black rights for African American so they can go around calling each other the N word.

This was a crusade by the media during a slow news period to bury NBC and make it look bad.

Re: Don Imus fighting back!

Why has everybody forgotten what this started over? When people talk about it now al I hear is theese two things :1. Don Imus has been wronged, and 2. Al Sharpton is a idiot (which he is).Why is this no longer mainly about the girls, theese are girls who went to college being called hoes, it's not about that in black culture the word ho is thrown around so easily , its about that on a national stage he called out a specific amount of girls and called them women who sell their bodies because no training in other fields of work or don't want to get a real job. This isn't about race it's about that he called a group of girls names that they didn't deserve to be called names in the first place.

Re: Don Imus fighting back!

Oh please, this has nothing to do with those girls anymore, it was never about those girls and how they felt, it was about the words he said and how the media overreacted, if Imus called those girls a bunch of dumb niggers who should be hanging from a tree...then it would be more about the girls than it is....the statements were not 'bad' enough to have the story based on the girls reaction. This story brought out a lot of other things which have brought out discussion. Mainly because of black activists getting involved....they have taken over the story.

Re: Don Imus fighting back!

UGH, ok so what you are saying it was never about the girls.......ok....

Re: Don Imus fighting back!

Yes, thats what I said, would you like me to repeat it?

Re: Don Imus fighting back!

Why yes BCB I would like you to repeat that.

This story is like three days old. What is there to talk about involving the girls? The story has changed as other things have happened, being Imus getting fired and Rev. Hypocrite getting involved. Who cares about the girls quite honestly. Someone called them 'hoes'...big deal, I'm sure they are over it.

Re: Don Imus fighting back!

Then why the hell are people still arguing over this?

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Really just because they're black they listen to rap music now?And not every artist sits back and says ho's and bitches all the time..............</div>Haha....wow man, now you're really going out on a limb there. 90% of rap is bi*ch, hoes, smoke weed, sell crack. I realize 2Pac and Biggy were legends in the history of rap. But people glorify these guys for rapping out doing drugs, killing people, selling drugs, mistreating women, and a whole bunch of other stuff. The end of the song Hit Em Up? "My Fo-Fo make sure all your kids don't grow". I mean C'mon. Also, why doesn't Sharpton go after the Rap community? Anyone, please? A white guy says one sentence that was clearly over the line but tons of african american rap artists deface they're on race and make millions off of it. On Sharpton's show, Imus referred to himself as an old cracker and Sharpton replied I would like you to respect your own race on my show. Well Al, if you respect your race so much, go after your own race! There are thousands of rappers that make millions of dollars saying the N word. But since they're black it's ok? Jesus.

Re: Don Imus fighting back!

Anyone hear Stephen A. Smith's reaction on Sportscenter....he referenced Pacman Jones as an example of people that need to watch what they do...and that actions have consicences....what a load...he's comparing a threat to society to a radio guy...it was just a typical response.

I bet they're shoulder leaning to Snoop Dogg's bi*ch Please on their IPODS walking around campus....but oh, thats ok.

And you're calling me ignorant? You're going to sit here and say that only two rappers use all of that vulgar sh*t? If Don Imus gets fired from saying Nappy Headed Ho's.
