<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>I think it's communistic view to suddenly fire anyone who makes a possibly offensive comment...I'm not talking just about race because when you put race into the picture, like I said, where does it stop? Where do the 'I'm offended' police go next? Suddenly the FCC doesn't allow anything....thats where it will end up. I thought Imus should have been suspended, but firing people and being hypocritical is not the answer.</div>You couldn't be more wrong about it being communist. MSNBC is a corporation, not the government, and as a corporation they have the right to fire somebody who makes a move that is not popular to them. This reminds me of **SPOILER IF YOU HAVENT SEEN LAST SEASON'S SOPRANOS** Tony Soprano pondering whether or not to kill veto for being gay because it will lose him profits. Tony doesn't have a problem with one of his most loyal men being gay, but knows it will lose him profits and he'll lose face. This is the same situation MSNBC was in and they really had no other choice.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>nah don't fire anybody because sometimes people just don't think before they talk and deserve a second chance because that's what this country is all about...a suspension is right..I agree with you on that</div>He's had a second chance, and a third chance, and a fourth chance, and a...........I don't think he should be fired, but to say he hasn't had a second chance is ludicrous.
