Listen, I am not a republican. I have left and right views. You have to understand some of the thinking going on in this country is dangerous and a lot of it comes from the "progressive left". They run hollywood, the tech industry, music industry, and universities. If this was super right ideas really populating the mainstream, I would be more on top of that but that's not what's happening. As a country we are in dangerous territory and it's not because of the right or just the regular old left. It's the cultural appropriation bullshit, calling everybody racist or that we live in a fascist country. The constant over dramatic views and gender pronouns. The witch hunting culture. That is more on the side of fascism than anything.
That whole post was sort of an overly dramatic view ...just sayin' ….seeing John, Bobby and Martin Luther King Jr killed in quick succession was a dangerous time in this country...Nixon's presidency was a dangerous time in this country...we're not anywhere near that level today..but as I've said....political correctness should be just called correctness and not be a character flaw or party affiliation

While Republicans do hold the power, I see through social media and the States in general that the mindset is still very very liberal. Almost everybody hates Donald Trump it feels like. The lock her up stuff is older. The type of liberalism people are hating is this super progressive kind. Not really the left but the super left. They try and control what people say and are the thought police it feels like and I think a majority of people including me are pretty tired of it. It's like context and intent doesn't matter anymore. Can barely tell jokes these days without people getting upset or taking it way too seriously. It's the PC stuff people hate

I agree. I don't condone it either, I just that people wanna blame one guy over this. This has been going on for a while now and there are a ton of people involved. The news unfortunately is just as divisive as people these days. Fox is right, CNN is left and there are half truths being told on both platforms but it's mostly spun in a way to appeal to the party they support. I agree though, both sides are ultimately part of the issue and I wish there would be an understanding to some level but the commitment people have to these parties is insane, they just wont give the ideology up. I don't know what can bring them together. For me I just don't watch the news. I mainly use twitter for news with a mix of left and right people and if it's an issue I wanna know more about, I google until I find the truth and not from a platform I know that will be left or right. I want to get the real truth and not a spun version of it.
What’s really sad is that you actually pay attention to the “super left” and their “message”. And it’s obvious that they have gotten into your head. I’m moderate to liberal and those douche bags don’t represent me, so I make the very easy choice to ignore them. I would suggest you do the same. They look stupid enough all by themselves without you or I drawing even more attention to them......that said, I too hate Donald Trump as he does not represent me either. He’s just the flip side of the coin you’re always foaming at the mouth about.

They are mostly in lawn care and maid service. Some in home remodeling. I don't see a big impact there.
