Isn't he just......just.....dreamy?

I guess if one dreams about fat, small handed over bearing pompous and egotistical assholes. Not saure why anyone would dream about that, but to each their own. :hello:

Do the Trump supporters like this too? Is this good?

There actually hasn’t been any briefing, press release or any other indications from the White House saying they are even considering abandoning the Open Skies Treaty. The head of the foreign intel committee made a baseless assumption and now Twitter is having a field day.

I’m happy not to agree with those war mongering dickheads. When did you start blowing the hard-right outskirts of the Republican Party? I haven’t seen this side of you before. I like how you are actually holding some of the worst Republicans in existence to a high regard, just to try and prove a point. It negates nearly every political argument you’ve made on here, and it’s hilarious.

my point is not even about whether it’s right or wrong. My point is about TRUMP and that his own fucking party thinks he’s an idiot here. But even tho his more ardent supporters (Mitch, Lindsay etc) come out (finally) and question him, his followers are still like, ‘yeah this is a good idea’. That is all. What will it take for people to say, Jesus this is crazy? Nothing. People who continue to support him in the face of idiocy are...idiots.

I still haven't made up my mind on this one. It seems no matter how much reading I do on the situation, part of me agrees and part of me disagrees. I suppose, like most things in life, there is no perfect black and white. There are just varying shades of grey.

You can be against having troops in Syria and still not agree with pulling out with zero warning to our allies and pulling out without consulting with anyone else in our government.

That's about where I'm at.

So you’re saying this was created out of thin air? We’ll see.

There never is anymore. Policy changes are announced by a tweet from the golden toilet.

I don't think we know whether it is baseless. It sounds exactly like something Trump would want to do, doesn't it? Assuming someone foolishly told him the treaty existed, that is.

not at all....I'm saying supporting their invasion with a green light is wrong..this statement by Trump has zero support within our armed forces, Pentagon, Senate, Congress...across the board. Just a dumb fucking piece of blunder to give this dictator a green light to invade anybody thinking pulling the troops out would play well on the campaign trail and not considering the consequences of his actions...now the Kurds will probably join with the Syrian resistance and there will be war with Russians and Turks....Turks not long ago poisoned a Russian official if I remember correctly. Trump has no grip on world affairs...it's dangerously obvious...Trump got played ..I'll bet the Israelis are on the phone with him right now.
I think he made a snap decision probably while sitting on the pot.

And is continuing to be destroyed. We are doing NOTHING good there and never have. We are there for resources, period.
What resources does Syria have? Dates? Sesame seeds? Palm oil? Luxurious carpets?
On the othert hand, Syria does have ISIS. And it has Kurds who are in big trouble with Turkey. Look for quite a few Kurds to die but what the heck, that's them and not us. Also, pray that ISIS doesn't make a come back. One 9-11 is more than enough.

Your position is that you don’t have a position other than going against everything trump does, no matter what it is. It’s not intriguing.

Oil and gas pipelines that connect Russia and Western Europe. US doesn’t like that.

And fuck ISIS. They don’t scare me. Not on my day to day list of concerns. They are nothing but an excuse for our government to blow more shit up.

Thanks for agreeing with me?

Lol at thinking that ur boy is ‘bringing home the troops’ because he wants to save lives and be the good guy, not because of some favor to Russia or Turkey. It’s cute

Trump's invested in Istanbul....the Kurd's don't have one of these but the Turks do...

This guy just consistently prove how big of a liar he is. He complains about anonymous sources for news people but then turns around and uses the word many, and an unnamed General etc in his lies. I had no idea that the United States had no ammunition. lmao!

“When I took over our military, we did not have ammunition,” Trump said. “I was told by a top general, maybe the top of them all, ‘Sir, I’m sorry sir, we don’t have ammunition.’ I said, I will never let that happen to another president.” trump

Here we go with the baseless conspiracy theories. Russia again? Lol Jesus Christ man.

And you’d rather keep troops on the ground for what? Just to spite Trump? You’re delusional. Turn of the MSNBC dude, those people aren’t progressives.

read up. maybe find a map. you dont think it benefits russia to leave? you dont think the US leaving the region, makes it easier for Russia to make sure Syria is continued to be controlled by al-Assad? That it further strengthens its position of power in the middle east? Interesting.

Russia is part of that region, maybe find a map. Maybe those issues should be left to countries in that region, not ones 10,000 miles away.

I don't think I agreed with you on this one. Your statement that the underlying story was baseless is itself baseless. It is entirely possible that Engel has information that you and I don't have.

to pull our troops from the Syrian border. There no way we should get bogged down any further in that region.

Reports are that we only had 50 people in the area. That's not getting 'bogged down'.

What those 50 were effectively doing, though, was preventing Turkey from launching an attack on the Kurds. Because killing the Americans would not have been good politics for Turkey.

What Trump did was not so much about recalling troops as it was about giving Turkey permission to kill our allies.

Not sure why you'd like that?

For some reason we just stopped using human shields as a defense...and for some reason they didn't....the Neanderthal strategy
