Essentially Fast replaced Hagelin last year. He does the same role but he's much better and he's a righty shot. He's better defensively. To me, he has more upside offensively. Lindberg will be Boyle's replacement. Never was a Boyle fan. Lindberg will be better than Boyle. Miller is Cally's replacement. He certainly has the potential to be better than Callahan. Callahan had a lot of his offense on the PP which is hilarious because he sucked on that unit. He was able to get a about 7 to 10 goals on that unit because our thickheaded coaches played him all the time there which I never liked. Etem will basically replace Pouliot. Similar talents. A lot expected of them as first rounders who came here never having lived up to the hype.
I said the team needed some major changes. Hagelin was a major change. I would not stop there. McIlrath needs a spot. I have never been for trading Klein. I read somewhere that Gorton had like 10 GM's calling trying to get him. If you could dump Glass with Klein, get back a first and a legit, young, righty defenseman prospect ready for the NHL next season, it's worth considering.
