2 cool/funny things from the flight home. We were watching the highlights on SportsCenter and when they showed LA get rimchecked on his dunk attempt in the 2nd, EVERYBODY was laughin' at him! And Camby got an iPad. Was watching a movie on it, very cool!

Thursday- Lakers @ Denver
Do we want the Nuggets to win or lose?

Just think of all those head scratching losses we had at home in the middle of the season. This team could easily be #2 out West had the ball bounced our way a couple times and we didn't blow big leads in the 2nd half of games.

This is why we come here. Jason quick has nothing on you! Forget inside the locker room. We get inside the plane.

Or how about this? What if we just split the season series with Utah and Denver? That would be what, 3 mores wins? We would be in 2nd place and control our own destiny. I would never expect us to win those season series but a split in those kind of series is so important.

Oh well ...

Appreciate the undercover report. :devilwink:
Will you please ask Camby to buy me one!

This is pretty much mind boggling win you try to play things out but the more I look at it the more 2 things stick out to me.

1. Believe it or not Memphis will play a huge role the last few games as they play @SAS, @DEN and @OKC. I would like to think that a team that over-achieved this year can steal one or more of these games but Im not holding my breath.

2. It seems more likely that SAS, POR and OKC will all go 2-1 in the next 3 games and this will come down the last game of the regular season. What a crazy night that will be. If it does come down to that night at least we are at home against a beatable team.

It is to point where I do not know how or who to root for. With all those teams ahead of us moving around every night, there might be a scenario that we might want to finish 6th and play the Mavs instead of 7th and play the Jazz. This is crazy!

So what's the final word? Are we rooting for Denver to win or lose tonight?

Hmmmmm tough. I hate both teams. Lakers even more. A Lakers win might help us however.

How about a Lakers win with a couple brawls. Artest laying out Carmello and Kobe getting piledrived by Nene.

Most definitely, Zags'! Not that it matters who any of us "root" for, but it'd be in our best interest if the Lakers were to win tonight... and if all of that other stuff were to happen, too!

I've been rooting for Denver/Utah to lose (so they get seeds 4/5 and we don't have to mess with them) and Phoenix/Dallas to win, so they take seeds 2 & 3, and then hope we don't finish 8th.

I'm rooting for Phoenix and Memphis tonight. I don't see how we can move up to 5th so 6th will have to do.

Look, that always happens. You lose the games you "should" have won and win games you "should" have lost. "Should" the Blazers, short-handed, have won at Dallas, Phoenix, San Antonio? And while Golden State sucks, the Blazers have played poorly there and were down by 16 points late, "should" they have won that game?

For that matter, "shoud" San Antonio have lost to the Nets?

I'm not going to say how I think we'll finish, because I don't want to jinx it, ABM-style. I just say I think we'll be the 6th seed. The key is whether or not K*be plays on Sunday.

Lucky for us, PHX has to win tonight also, so they won't sit any key players! Go Suns!

It'd be nice if Utah (@ N.O.), San Antonio (vs. Memphis), and OKC (vs. Phoenix) all lost tonight. Not getting my hopes up, however...

Fuck that! Get 'em up! Go Zers!

Oh, I have confidence in our guys tonight, brotha... just not in New Orleans, Memphis, or Phoenix doing us any favors. That said, I don't care what any of the other teams around us do to close-out the regular season, so long as we play well in each game (and go into the playoffs playing some of our best basketball).

I guess Camby is gonna play tonight!

End of 1st. OKC ahead of the Suns 32-31.

Durant already has 13 and 4.

OKC wins.

Durant with 35.

The Thunder will likely avoid the Lakers/#8th spot.

I think we're stuck with 7 or 8 unless we win out.

Portland: 48-31
at LA Lakers
vs. Thunder (B2B)
vs. Golden State

San Antonio: 48-31
at Denver (B2B)
vs. Minnesota
at Dallas

Since we own the tie breaker vs. SA, we can afford to have the same record as they do and avoid #8.
