Jake Layman wants to be "Bruce Bowen on defense and Gordan Hayward on offense" nice goals.

Olshey has had good luck with players whose last name starts with L.
I liked him better when he was Jon Diebler.
Or Luke Wayne Babbit? The more I read about this Layman feller, the more he sounds like another white guy who was picked in the 2nd round... Chandler Parsons.
LOLNever doubt Olshey.
Babbitt was a lottery pick I think lol... *sigh*Or Luke Wayne Babbit?
We better sign him and he better accept... Only an hour and a half drive to work for himDoes GPII go undrafted? If so, sign him to the summer league ASAP! Only 10 more picks.

as a homer, my position is that his biggest weakness is his body, which is easily fixable. But yeah, there's a reason he didn't go lotto. He looks terrible.
Cuz he's white? Layman sounds more like Chandler Parsons if we have to compare him to a white guy.
Why not just pick GPII?![]()
What skills? From what I've seen he can't dribble, pass or create offense and he's terrible on defense and rebounding.Olshey has repeatedly said he trusts our coaching staffs ability to develop players and that's what I see with this pick..the guy has a lot of skills
