Well, there is one stash candidate left; maybe now cheap enough we could buy' a big skinny Russian. Andrey Desyatnikov

I'm not on the GPII bandwagon...I've heard bad things from guys who played with him in Corvalis...no thanks

I never seen him play but his stats seems he can shoot the ball. But I won't down anyone until he has the chance either prove his self or not. So I will wait and see out look.

Like what? This is the first I've heard that he wasn't a good teammate.
He has on and off the court issues and an attitude problem according to people who've spent time around him..I've seen him a few times at the gym there but don't really know the kid..second hand info from my son's classmates up there..

Just like the old man. Sonic fans ignored his personality for years so that they could like him. I've posted anecdotes here before.

Workout wonder Dorian Finney-Smith also went undrafted. I bet he'd be fun to see in summer league.

I attended OSU at the same time as Gary Payton (Sr.). Had a class with him too. My best friend at the time was the Residents Assistant in the dorm with Gary Payton. I'm not a fan of him personally. Rude. Arrogant. Disruptive. Disrespectful. Knowing him personally really turned me off to watching college basketball for many years.

If he couldn't make it work attitude wise in Portland than he won't be able to make it work anywhere. Sounds like we have one of the most chill player atmospheres in the league with the players environment and star player not playing favorites.

This is true...but why take the risk when there are high character options with talent?

Where are those options?

Portland needs someone with some attitude. I don't see any "better" fits for backup PG than GPII.

He's going to be used as a SF. How much bulk does he need?
Layman isn't quick enough to guard the SF in the NBA. I think his only shot of sticking is becoming a small ball 4.
